Letter from the President
The Auburn Crop, Soil, and Environmental Sciences Club meets one Thursday a month in Funchess Hall (Room 246) for approximately 1 hour at 5:30 p.m.! We always have free food and there is always a great group of people to meet and fellowship with. This club is designed to show students within the CSES department some of the opportunities the college offers outside of the classroom, create a close-knit group of peers, as well as allowing students to develop themselves as students and future employees within the Agriculture industry!
We have made a lot of necessary changes to the club for the 2017-2018 school year. We now offer an intramural team for flag football and volleyball, new club apparel, themed meetings, field visits and more opportunities for club involvement. Apparel can always be purchased in the main office (Funchess 201). Every fall we have the opportunity to travel to and compete at the National Students of Agronomy, Soils and Environmental Sciences Conference which will be in Baltimore, MD in 2018.
