10 alternating racemes dispersed upward on the inflorescence, racemes are awnless.
|DESCRIPTION:||Plant glabrous throughout and lack of ligule are identifying characteristics. Distinguished from
barnyardgrass (Echinochloa crus-galli) by awns on racemes- not present on junglerice, whereas
present on barnyardgrass.
