|FEATURES:||Alternating trifoliate leaves. Middle leaf can be slightly petiolate. Stem green to red. Produces
a compact inflorescence with 5 to 15 flowers. Inflorescence is light to dark yellow. Distinct
striations are present on the flower petal surface.
|DESCRIPTION:||Name is given because it is the smallest of they yellow flowered clover species. Normally
produces only 5 to 20 flowers per inflorescence. Other than the general smallness of this plant
compared to T. campestre, both species are very similar and can be nearly impossible to distinguish.
