FEATURES: Annual, possible biennial decumbent legume. Leaves pinnately trifoliate, denticulate on top
half of leaf. Inflorescence heads yellow, globose, 20 to 40 flowers with distinct striations on
petals.
DESCRIPTION: Common winter annual weed of low and high maintenance turfgrass. Difficult to distinguish
between Trifolium dubium. T. campestre inflorescence heads always have >20 flowers and
flowers have distinct striations on the petals. T. dubium inflorescence heads can have 3 to 20
flowers and petals do not have distinct striations.
